Christopher Wigren of Preservation Connecticut will talk about the Olmsted firm’s work in Connecticut and how Frederick Law Olmsted’s upbringing, education, and connections in the state shaped his subsequent career. . . . Mr. Wigren is the Deputy Director of Preservation Connecticut, the statewide nonprofit dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the buildings, sites and landscapes that contribute to the heritage and vitality of Connecticut.
